Browsing in Accessories

As some of you may know, I’m a little obsessed with Mario. I have a few paintings I did hanging in my apartment. Well, this past week I bought a new couch. New couch = new pillows! These two below would match the Mario theme perfectly! Both found here.

Wow! Who needs real instruments anymore?

My boyfriend showed me this website today via Reddit. Click around and enjoy, you’ll be busy for hours! I believe it was inspired by the Tenori-on, something I could easily see my younger brother playing with. If anything, it’s at least pretty to watch! Oh, and this also gets Nerdtron Award #4!

Okay so this is a girly geek blog. Strangely enough, I seem to have mostly male readers. This post is so totally girly, it will make guys sick!

Just like most girls, I love love love purses and shoes. I can NEVER have enough. Mmmm a closet full of shoes? Only in a glorious dream. A even bigger dream..owning a designer bag. Lucky for me there is Bag Borrow or Steal, a website where you can rent designer bags, maybe for that special occasion? Then, if you like a bag so much, you can “steal” it. Which is where you pay off the rest of the bag. Sad part is, once someone steals a bag, it’s gone from the collection. Bag Borrow or Steal also has a collection of vintage bags. Just because the purses are older it doesn’t make them cheaper. We’re talking thousands a month…to RENT. I’d be scared of losing the thing. Yikes!

A few months ago my little brother came home from Japan with this:
cuddle meWhen turned on, it’s head bobbles back and forth. Also, there is a little notch in the leaves to hold a business card. I could not figure out for the life of me what the purpose of this cute little thing was. And now, a few months later, I stumble across what is called a Sunshine Buddy, or in Japanese, Nohohon Zoku. So I found out the the bobble head motion is supposed to sooth stress, which is why it’s found on so many office desks, and hence the business cared holder. It gets the name Sunshine Buddy because it’s powered by solar energy, which is to promote green. Japan seems to be really big on that. The Sunshine Buddies come in many many different kinds. There are singing ones, plant holder ones, and even a Hello Kitty variety. To get your own, visit Play Asia.
