UPDATE: Here is how the Beta versions compare. Interesting.
It seems like I am the only one on the planet having speed issues/any issues with Chrome. Time to get a new computer.

Trouble editing this post

I love Google. I know, I always say that, but I do. When I heard the buzz about a Google competitor, I was like, “HA! Good Luck!” Cuil has been making quite a few headlines, so I thought I would check it out.
Honestly, not impressed in the slightest. Yeah sure, it’s kinda pretty, but the search reeks. I Googled my name (cause I’m vain like that) and got two pages worth of hits. None of them having to do with me, and lots of them spam. Google? Ten pages and my Facebook is the number one hit.
Cuil is built differently than Google. Cuil says that the have the largest search engine in the world. From what I can tell, that doesn’t necessarily mean largest in the US. Also, results are based on relativity not popularity. THANK YOU! That always bugged me about Google. Sometimes I want to see parts of the internet that are a little more hidden.
All in all I hope Cuil does well. They sure do need to keep expanding more; maybe add something like an image search, video search, ect. If that happens, I’ll hop on the Cuil train. If not, then I’ll forget about them, just like Lycos.
You would think me being gone for so long meant I was off playing Lively. Wrong. It was an addiction for a day. Too many glitches that tested my patience.

Off to the award! Strangely, this is goes to another music site. This Nerdtron Award is presented to Muxtape.com This is a website that I’ve been wanting to try out for awhile now, and I love it! Muxtape is where you can make a digital mixtape. Upload songs from your computer to make a mix that others can listen to. Like a song you hear? Click on the link below the song and buy it from Amazon.com Muxtape’s 80’s/Now feel might bring you back, so to help with the mood, here are some mixtape items that may make you wish you had a DeLorean.
So I’ve messed around a bit and I’m still pretty torn. I was amazed at first, how many users and rooms there were within just a few days and second, the amount of international users there are. I was hard to find someone I could actually communicate with.
I have a pretty fast internet connecting and I noticed lag from time to time. Once, my computer just totally locked up. Not cool. Many people companied that it was slow, but hey, it’s BETA. The camera angles are hard to manage, and same with moving furniture around. Last thing that REALLY bugs, some menus flicker on top of the room, it really hurts your eyes. Maybe it’s just my video card? Sure Lively has its cons…but it’s SO CUTE!
Here is a picture of me in my room that is currently a work in progress…

And HERE is my room <3
